New ISO 14064 Certification Strengthens Uddeholm’s Business Opportunities

More customers are requesting CO₂ emissions data according to ISO 14064, and the lack of this certification has previously limited some business opportunities. With the certification now in place, Uddeholm can meet growing customer expectations and strengthen its market position.

By using existing CSRD data from SCCS and adding a few complementary inputs, the division successfully completed the necessary ISO 14064 calculations through close and efficient collaboration.

ISO certification confirms that an organisation has a structured management system for planning, monitoring, and improving its operations. To obtain the certificate, an independent third‑party audit verifies compliance with the standard. After approval, annual audits ensure continued alignment with the requirements.

ISO, international organization for standardization

ISO certification means compliance with a set of rules, or standards, in a specific area that have been developed by the International Organization for Standardization. Uddeholm is third-party audited for the following ISO certifications: ISO 9001 since 1992; ISO 14001 since 2002; and ISO 45001 since 2021 (previously OHSAS 18001 since 2014),  ISO 50001 since 2013 and ISO 14064 since 2026.
