For the third time, Uddeholm is once again the winner of the Improvement Award 2023 – Environment.
In 2017, we got the first win in the Environment category. In 2022, Uddeholm managed to win again. And now, in 2023, Uddeholm is awarded a third time for best implemented idea – Uddeholm runs on 50% fossil free Biogas (LBG).
The award certificate was awarded to: Susanne Granberg Environment Manager, Örjan Alm Bylund Purchase Manager, Ola Axelsson Technology and Innovation Manager and Robert Gustafsson Brand and Communication Manager.
Today Uddeholm runs on 60% fossil-free Biogas (LBG) and later this autumn, the next step towards fossil-free production will be taken, when Uddeholm will carry out a test with fossil-free hydrogen and a world-unique gas mixing system.
