The 28th Fakuma international trade fair for plastics processing opened its doors in Friedrichshafen from 17th to 21st October 2023 and Uddeholm was at the fair, proudly showcasing our offerings with a dedicated booth manned by our German representatives. The lively atmosphere and increased numbers of visitors made this year’s Fakuma a particularly engaging experience. Navigating a challenging market environment, we were pleased to witness a surge in visitor numbers compared to previous years, indicating potential projects on the horizon.
The Uddeholm booth centered around three key themes: Uddeholm Tyrax ESR, Sustainability, and Additive Manufacturing. Our focus in additive manufacturing was a standout feature, especially with the spotlight on “venting structures” manufactured in Uddeholm Corrax for AM. This innovative approach showcases our commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology, and to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world of plastics processing.
