TAGMA International Tooling Summit 2022 (ITS 2022) concluded on 21st & 22nd Sept 2022 at Gurugram, India. The two-day event provided a unique platform for industry professionals to network with potential customers, learn from subject experts and update their technical knowledge know-how.
The theme for the ITS 2022 was “Indian Tooling Industry: Poised for Growth” and it was revolved around opportunities, growth prospects, latest technology developments, policy framework, diversification, and challenges. The two-day event was featured with four panel discussions, over 15 technical sessions and was attended by more than 400 delegates from various industries.
Mr. C Vijaykumar (Sr. Manager – VAS & Technical services) presented on behalf of voestalpine High performance metals India Pvt. Ltd on topic “Advance Heat Treatment for High Performance tooling’s” and there was great response received after his session.
Many experts guided on: Opportunity for Indian tool room, Tool maker focus on Commitment, Delivery, Quality mold & Accuracy, and also Transparency with customer, upskilling manpower, Industry 4.0, Automation, cycle time reduction & optimizing time for tooling cost, Additive manufacturing/conformal cooling, Hot runner system, Steel requirement, Price & time, and finally focus on localization.
ITS 2022 finished with lot of hope for the Indian tooling industries!
