Euroguss, the meeting place for the international die casting industry, was held June 8th-10th in Nuremberg, Germany. Current topics such as mega-casting, sustainable production methods, the ongoing transformation of the drive towards e-mobility, digitalization in manufacturing, and additive manufacturing processes were discussed.
At the Uddeholm booth, Uddeholm Germany represented our products, solutions, etc. The focus was on Uddeholm Dievar, Uddeholm Dievar for AM, additive manufacturing in general and Engineered Products for high pressure die casting.
– We had about 50 visitors from nine countries at the booth. Though this is not a very high quantity, the quality of the discussions was very good and we have discussed a lot of concrete projects, says Max Odernheimer, Head of Strategic Marketing Uddeholm Germany.
The 21st Die Casting Conference took place parallel to the trade fair and offered participants the usual high quality of presentations. Sebastian Sivertsen, Product Manager Hot Work at the Uddeholm Mill, had a presentation: The environmental cost of not using Uddeholm Dievar.
