AISI D2

    AISI D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel alloyed with molybdenum and vanadium. AISI D2 is recommended for tools requiring high wear resistance, combined with moderate toughness. Generally used in the 58-60 HRC range for medium run applications. Suitable substrate for PVD coatings with appropriate heat treatment.

    Delivery condition: Soft annealed approx. 210 HB
