Uddeholm organise High Pressur Die Casting seminar for the growing industry in Slovakia
April 4-5, Uddeholm has organized in Kosice, a seminar gathering the die casting industry in the growing Slovakia. More than 1 million of vehicles are expected to be built in Slovakia by 2010. Kosice is the second largest city of Slovakia. It is located in the eastern part of this country and it is a booming location for the industry. During two days, more than 40 people have joined together. Guest-speakers, partners and participants have been able to share their experience and network efficiently through lecturers, face-to-face meetings and customer visits. Volvo Powertrain, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Sandvik Coromant and Bühler Druckguss AG have actively supported the Uddeholm international team in an attempt to gather this profession with the support of the Technical University of Kosice. The feedback was extremely positive, as many companies already see this event as the possible “rendez-vous” of the die casting profession in Slovakia.
