Uddeholm cuts leadtime for tool castings
A selection of Uddeholm’s cold work tool steel can now be offered as castings. This addition to the product range gives Uddeholm the possibility to offer automotive companies a completely integrated tool steel solution for automotive body tools and dies. Compared to other providers of tool steel castings, Uddeholm can offer the customer reduced lead time, increased quality, qualified technical support and application know-how. Also other applications for the cast tool steel products are currently being investigated.
