Uddeholm Swedish Rally
The forests of Värmland and Dalarna, February 7-10, 2008
Uddeholm Swedish rally is one of a few pure winter rallies run exclusively on snow. And the drivers love it! Taming the snow is a real challenge and the key to winning is using the snow banks to keep you on the road.
Watching the rally couldn't be easier in Sweden: the stages are easily accessible, people are helpful and there are many good vantage points. Fans are noisy and good natured - probably the best way to keep warm!
The stages are about an hour north of the rally headquarters in Karlstad to try to guarantee the maximum amount of snow.
When the snow falls, Sweden's stages are among the best in the world. The conditions of this years rally were perfect with lots of snow and temperatures down to -25 Co
